Be wary of sites posting the big name stores (Walmart, Best Buy) and their Black Friday deals too soon. While many have already been leaked, be cautious until you see everything in print.
What seems to be hot for Christmas already? Expect to see people waiting on Black Friday for big ticket electronics- TVs and laptops- and ‘family friendly’ gifts like Wii.
And don’t forget there are web specials on Black Friday, too. Fewer black eyes and traffic.
If you bury me in a Walmart casket, I will haunt you. I swear I will.
Walmart.com is now selling caskets and urns- and arriving at your home (or funeral home) in a speedy 48 hours. But make sure your loved one is really dead- they don’t take returns.
There are currently 14 caskets to choose from on the Walmart site. They range in price from $999 for a Lady de Guadalupe Steel Casket to $3199 for the Sienna Bronze Casket. Average Fedex shipping is around $100 (which, honestly, isn’t bad for what I am assuming is a heavy piece of wood or whatever these are made of).
But really Walmart, is this truly an area you needed to takeover? Can’t you just let the funeral homes have this one little market?
I’m just so creeped out I can’t stand it. And I stand by my first line of this blog. Don’t tempt me.
